Career Paths

If you're looking just for a temporary job to earn some quick crescents check out the Job Board, but if you're looking for a career then this is where you need to go. We have both Full-time and Part-time Careers. Careers give you a set amount of crescents each month. The amount does require you to have worked the previous month.

Part-time

Part-time jobs pay lower but have less requirements. To keep a part-time job you have to do a colored image or write 300 words once a month of them doing their work. If you miss work 3 times (3 months) you are fired from the job. Only teens and adults can take on part-time jobs. You are limited to 2 part-time jobs at a time per moonbeym. You cannot have a part-time and a full-time job.

Earn: 10 Crescents/month

General Store Clerk - Working at Hymn's general store, stocking shelves, cleaning up, and ringing up customers.

Fiddles and Fixin's Staff - A job at Fiddles and Fixings Tavern. You'll take orders, serve customers, wash dishes, clean, and sometimes cook. Teens aren't allowed to serve alcoholic beverages.

Library Clerk - Check out books, stock the shelves, and clean.

Full-time

Full-time jobs pay higher and get special skills but have more requirements. To keep a part-time job you have to do one polished image/ 600 words or 2 colored images/ 300 word story each a month of them doing their work. If you miss work 3 times (3 months) you are fired from the job. Only adults can take on a full-time job and are limited to only 1 full-time job per moonbeym. You cannot take on a part-time job and full-time job.

Earn: 20 Crescents/month

Animal Tamer - Animal Tamers go out to explore and look for new animals out in the world. They have the ability to try to tame animals as well.

To tame:

1.Draw your Animal tamer exploring (this also counts as doing their job if it is a polished image or 2 colored images) or write a 500 word story and submit to the Careers Folder. Please state in the description that it is for Animal Taming.
2. Staff will roll to see if you an encountered an animal and which kind.
3. To tame - draw a picture of your tamer trying to capture or coax the animal. Staff will roll. If you pass, you have tamed the animal and you will earn either extra coin, a pet, or new information about the animal.

Librarian - The town's researchers and scholars. Librarians collect information and are good at searching through lore and history. They have the ability to find interesting bits fo information and Secrets.

To research:

1. Draw your Librarian doing research (this also counts as doing their job if it is a polished image or 2 colored images) or write a 500 word story and submit to the Careers Folder. Please state in the description that it is for Research.

2. Staff will roll to see if you discovered anything interesting. You might get a clue or something else. You can turn Secrets into the Adventurer's Guild or submit your information to the database for coins or special items.
