Growing Up
Growing up is apart of life and that's the same with Moonbeyms. There are three main stages that happen with Moonbeyms.
Egg to Baby
Eggs can be hatched at any time. All you need is to complete the template that came with the egg and submit it to the #myo-approvals.
You can have your character stay a baby for however long you like, but there is a limit to what you can do as a baby.
As a Baby:
-Access to Baby traits only
Babies are chubby and round. They tend to be flat footed and clumsy. They often tend to switch from walking to hopping. They are born with slightly bad eyesight until they get their pupils. Some babies never get pupils.
Baby to Teen
In order to grow up into a teen your character has to be 1 month old. The date is based on the official Masterlist approval date. Approval dates are the date your character was officially approved, or if for some reason the approval date is lost, it will go by when the character was added to the Masterlist.
In addition to being 1 month old, you also have to complete 3 full-body colored pictures of your Moonbeym.
You can stay a teen for as long as you like, but remember there are limited things you can do.

As a Teen:
-Can take on a part-time job
-Can learn level 1 of one craft
-Can learn 2 basic magic skills.
-Can learn 1 basic combat skill.
Teens start going through their limbering process. This is when they get more definition and loose some of the baby fat. They still have very round limbs. Their paws become more finger like and they develop a thumb. Their legs also go through a process where the move into a more digitigrade legs.

The limbering process can be painful. Sometimes, teens stay home sick during a particular painful shift while others just wake up sore from time to time.

Teen to Adult
Teen to Adult - Time to shuck off the awkwardness of teendom and become an adult. To become an adult requires the character being 3 months old and having completed 6 full-body colored pictures of your Moonbeym.
Moonbeym stop aging after they become an adult and live on until they either die from sickness, injury, or the drifting spirit. Moonbeyms do not die from old age and can live an endless amount of time.
As an Adult:
-Can work full-time
-Have full access to crafting.
-Can purchase property.
-Can explore and do quests alone.
-Can own pets.
-Can learn all levels of magic.
-Can learn all levels of combat
The limbering processes complete and is a sign of adulthood. Adult Moonbeyms are fully digitigrade and can move quicker due to this. Their arms and legs are more defined but still keep a roundness to it. Faces can also be rounder. Some adult still keep a rounder figure in general.

Slow Growing
What if you want to slowly grow up your Moonbeym and have gradual in between stages? You can! In order to do this you must do the requirements and stage like normal. So if you want to do a gradual stage before hitting teen, you must already fulfill the requirements and get your teen stage approve. Then you can freely draw that gradual phase between being a baby Moonbeym and a teen. The same can be done for traits or the stage from teen to adult. You must do the requirements and get it approve before doing the gradual growth.

Another example is growing your Moonbeyms hair gradually. You'll have to have the stylish hair trait first. This means filling the requirements as well as becoming a teen. You complete this and get it approved. Then you are free to draw your Moonbeym as a baby, gradually growing out their hair.
