Once your Moonbeym is an adult, they must move out of Sprout Orphanage and get their own place. There are three options:

 

1. Rent an apartment 

2. Buy a house

3. Buy land and build a house.

 

Apartments are always one room and have a limit of two people. Most apartments don't allow pets, so if you have a pet you will need to get a house. You can go to the Real Estate Office to see what type of apartments are available.

 

With houses, there are more rooms, you can have pets, and there are tons of add-ons you can put on a house that will also give you bonuses. There are two ways you can get a house. Buy one already made or buy a plot of land and build on it.

When you buy a house it is already designed with a layout. You take the layout and go from there. More than one person can live in the house and you can also have roommates that agree to pay you a set amount. Still, only one person can own the house and they are the one the real estate comes to to pay their taxes.

For plots, you buy the land and then construct your house from the ground up. Usually this means you have to have construction crafting skill or hire someone that does. Constructing your house makes it custom and has particular benefits depending on the land.
