Licensing

Before Moonbeyms can begin crafting they must first get a license. Licenses show that a Moonbeym has proper training and can both craft and sell particular items. This gives your Moonbeyms the ability to also open up their own shop if they wish as well.

There are two types of licenses and each license has Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master levels for their respective craft.

Crescent License - The first type of license is a Crescent license. It allows Moonbeyms to open up their own shops or just sell items from home. The higher the Crescent license the higher quality item a character can make. With a higher license you might be able to embed items with stats and effects. With a Crescent license your Moonbeym can sell items for crescents.

Economy License - The second type of license is the economy license. It allows a player to sell items for real life cash. In order to get a cash license you have to have a Crescent license first and have had it for at least three month and purchase it from the cash shop. An Economy License is yours forever as long as you don't turn it in.

Each license is tied to a particular Moonbeym, so if you want different licenses for different Moonbeyms they would need to go through the training and get the appropriate ticket.

Remember! By becoming a crafter and selling items, whether for crescent or cash, you are giving the art to the player that bought it. This means if you quit the game or change your mind later, you cannot take back the things you have already sold. You still maintain copyright of your work, but the player who bought it is allowed to still use it within the Moonbeyms games.

Crafting Skills

For every Moonbeym you have, you are allowed to learn two crafting skills. That means 2 crafts/Moonbeym. Learning apprenticeship level in a craft is completely free, but higher levels that gives stats or effects require obtaining a crafting ticket.

What if your Moonbeym learns two crafts but then realizes one just isn't for them? They have the options to turn their license in. Turning in a license resets their training in that craft and they are no longer able to submit items for crafting or sell those items. But they can now do training for a new license in a different craft.

Turning in a license does not refund crafting tickets, licenses fees, or training. You have to start all over, even if you decide you want to return to the old skill, you will have to start from the beginning and buy crafting tickets all over again. So be very sure before you turn in a license.

You must have a license for a month before you can turn it in.
