Teen Traits
Your Moonbeym is a teen now and with it comes a new world and lots of awkward changes. This is the time where teen Moonbeyms experiment and try to find their style and that means new traits some awkward traits as well.
Below you'll see more traits have opened. Remember, you are still allowed to get baby traits as well as your teen traits.

Remember: Moon Crests do not count as a color you can pick from on the Mooonbeym's body. Moon Crest colors can never be changed.
Need to remove a trait or switch a trait or marking around? You'll need some retro soap! You can buy this with Crescents at the General Store.
Teen Traits
Cheek Fluff
​
Cost: 50 Beyms and 1 Month old
​
Requirements: Being a teen is about change. Often that is awkward changes. Draw or write about your Moonbeym being awkward.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must be the same color as the face. Can only be as long as in the picture.
Whiskers​
Cost: 60 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: Whiskers are great for sensing things in the air. Draw or write about your Moonbeym noticing something unusual.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Whiskers can be white, black, or a color already on your Moonbeym. They can be up to medium length, not too long and up to 5 whiskers on each cheek.
Teeth
​
Cost: 100 Beyms and 1 month old
​
Requirements: Teeth! Now your moonbeym can eat more solid foods. Draw or write about your Moonbeym brushing their teeth.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Teeth can be anything from white to yellow.
Forked Tongue
​
Cost: 140 Beym and 2 months
​
Requirements: A Moonbeym that is good at talking is said to have a forked tongue. Draw or write about your Moonbeym convincing someone of something.​
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must be same color as one already on your Moonbeym. Cannot be long.
Freckles
​
Cost: 60 Beyms and 1 Month old
​
Requirements: Freckles are a sign of a Moonbeym being sunkissed. Draw or write about your Moonbeym outside and enjoying the sun.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Freckles can only be on the face and must be a scattering. They cannot make a shape. They can be a slightly dark shade of any color already on your Moonbeym. You are allowed to also make them just black or brown.
Stylish Hair
​
Cost: 140 Beyms and 2 months old
​
Requirements: Your Moonbeym is ready to do their own style and hair is the perfect way to show it off. Draw your Moonbeym styling their hair or getting it done at a hair salon.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Hair must be a color on the Moonbeym. Can use A drop of Color to change color of hair.
Chompers
​
Cost: 110 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: They say that chewing on things you're not supposed to will give your Moonbeym large front teeth. Draw or write about your Moonbeym chewing on something that isn't food.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: This will also allow your Moonbeym to have teeth with a front gap or crooked teeth. Teeth can be white to yellow.
Eyebrows
​
Cost: 60 Beyms and 1 Month
​
Requirements: Eyebrows are key to expressing yourself. Draw your Moonbeym with three different expressions.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Can be different shapes as long as it's not too complex. Eyebrow shapes must match. Can be any color already on your Moonbeym or black.
Shaped Pupils
​
Cost: 220 Beyms and 2 months old.
​
Requirements: Draw or write about your Moonbeym making something the same shape as their new pupils.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Moonbeyms pupils can be heart, square, diamond, triangle, rectangle, and five-point star shape only. Must be black unless you also have colored pupils.
Colored Pupils
​
Cost: 200 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: Colors or more intense with these peepers. Draw your Moonbeym painting.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Pupils can be any color you want. They do not effect regular eye color. They also do not count as a color that can be referenced when referring to 'a color already on your moonbeym' for other traits.
Perk Ears
​
Cost: 80 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: Perk ears are ears that often appear on good listeners or nosy Moonbeyms. Draw or write about your Moonbeym listening to someone.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Ears must match color on head. Ears can be mismatch colors if head is also mismatch color. Perk ears can be small to medium in size but cannot be oversize without the oversize trait. Ears have ear fluff unless you have the no ear fluff trait.
Folded Ears
​
Cost: 80 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: No one can resist the folded ears or at least it's hard to. Draw or write about your Moonbeym begging for something.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Ears must match color on head. Ears can be mismatch colors if head is also mismatch color. Folded ears can be a little over eye length but no longer. Ears have ear fluff under the folds unless you have the no ear fluff trait.
Some Scales

Cost: 280 Beyms and 2 Months
​
Requirements: It looks like your Moonbeym has gotten a little scaly. Draw or write about your Moonbeym developing scales and their reaction.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Scales must be a color already on their skin. Scales can only appear on their shoulder and very lightly on the top of their torso. A few can appear on their feet, paws and cheeks. No other places.
Back Spikes
​
Cost: 240 Beyms and 2 Months​
​
Requirements: Back spikes often appear on Moonbeyms that injured they're back. Draw or write about your Moonbeym hurting they're back in some way.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must be a color already on your Moonbeym. Spikes must be a single row and cannot be drastically different in shape. Can be pointed, but can't be curved or quills,. Spikes can only be on the back, but can extend down the back of a smooth tail.
Retractable Claws
​
Cost: 160 and 1 Month old
​
Requirements: Draw or write about your Moonbeym accidentally scratching something.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Retractable claws can be pulled into the paws. Can only be used with paws and the claws are short and sharp. The claws can be any color already on your Moonbeym.
Clawed Feet
​
Cost: 240 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: Clawed feet are perfect for climbing. Draw or write about your Moonbeym climbing something
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Clawed Hands replace pawed feet. They must be a color already on your Moonbeym. They are short to medium length. They cannot be extremely long.
Colored Paw Pads
​
Cost: 260 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: Sometimes you step in paint and the color never goes away. Draw about your Moonbeym getting paint on their paw pads.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must already have paw pads. Paw Pads can be any color you like, but the color can not be referenced for other traits. The paw pads can be a different color for each pad but not have more than one color on a single paw pad.
Slit Pupils
​
Cost: 260 Beyms and 2 months old
​
Requirements: Slit pupils appear in Moonbeyms that spend alot of time in the dark. Draw or write about your Moonbeym spending time in the dark.

​
How to Use: Must be black color unless your Moonbeym has the colored pupil trait.
Flop Ears
​
Cost: 90 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: Flop ears are said to be a trait of Moonbeyms that enjoy nature. Draw or write about your Moonbeym going outside and enjoying nature.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Ears must match color on head. Ears can be mismatch colors if head is also mismatch color. Ears can go a little pass the shoulder but cannot be oversize without the oversize trait. Ears do not have ear fluff.
Small Ears
​
Cost: 70 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: The rumor is that Moonbeyms with small ears aren't very good listeners. Draw or write about your Moonbeym ignoring someone or being distracted.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Ears must match color on head. Ears can be mismatch colors if head is also mismatch color. Ears are smaller than the normal ears but not tiny. Ears have ear fluff unless you have the no ear fluff trait.
Some Feathers

Cost: 280 Beyms and 2 Months
​
Requirements: It is said that a Moonbeym that has fallen from a high place and survived will develop some feathers. Draw or write about your Moonbeym falling.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Feathers must be a color already on their skin. Feathers can only appear on their shoulders and very lightly on the top of their torso. A few can appear on their feet, paws and cheeks. No other places.
Back Mane
​
Cost: 240 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: It looks like your Moonbeym has a bit of back hair. Draw or write about your Moonbeym interacting with an NPC.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must be a color already on the Moonbeym. Must be a single mane down the back, but can drape over the side. Can not be long enough to touch the floor.
Clawed Hands
​
Cost: 220 Beyms and 2 Months
​
Requirements: Claws are great for digging. Draw or write about your Moonbeym digging.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Clawed Hands replace hand paws. They must be a color already on your Moonbeym. They are short to medium length. They cannot be extremely long.
Shaped Paw Pads
​
Cost: 180 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: Draw or write about your Moonbeym admiring their new paw pads.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must already have paw pads. Must be same color as one already on their body. Can be a heart, square, diamond, triangle, rectangle, and five-point star shape only. Can only be one type of shape on the finger paws, but a different shape can be on the center paw.
Lash Tuff
​
Cost: 230 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: The tail of the hunter. Draw or write about your Moonbeym hunting something.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Lash tails can have a a fur tuff or no fur tuff. They are long and slim, but do not make extremely long. Must be same color as a color already on Moonbeym.
Smooth Tail
​
Cost: 250 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: This tail is for the Moonbeym who blocks things with their tail. Draw or write about your Moonbeym blocking something with their tail.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must be a color already on the body of the Moonbeym. The tail can be short to medium length. It must be thick and smooth. This tail can have spikes on it with used with the back spike trait. Spikes cannot be on the tip of the tail.
No Tail
​
Cost: 220 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: Draw or write about your Moonbeym being annoyed with their tail.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.

How to Use: The tail has vanished!
Pointed Horn
​
Cost: 200 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: Your Moonbeyms horn has grown into something a little pointer. Draw or write about your Moonbeyms poking something with their horn.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must have small horn nub and have drawn 3 pictures of your Moonbeym with their horn nub before you can use this. Horn can be small to medium length. Must be a color already on your Moonbeym.
Horned Beak
​
Cost: 210 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: The horn beak is a sign of leadership. Draw or write about your Moonbeym being a leader.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must be same color as the beak. The horn on the beak should be small and not go pass the eyes.
Double Pointed Horn
​
Cost: 200 Beyms and 1 month
​
Requirements: Your Moonbeyms horns have finally grown. Draw or write bout your Moonbeyms polishing their horns.

Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must have double horn nubs and have drawn 3 pictures of your Moonbeym with their horn nubs before you can use this. Horn can be small to medium length. Must be a color already on your Moonbeym.
Body Fluff
​
Cost: 290 Beyms and 2 months​
​
Requirements: Draw or write about your Moonbeym playing with something fluffy.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Moonbeym can be fluffy on everything expect their face and neck. Fluffy cannot be extreme, just more fluffy than usual. Cannot be long body hair.
Markings
Stripes
​
Cost: 200 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: Stripes are a sign of bravery. Draw or write about your Moonbeym being brave.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must be a color already on your Moonbeym. Stripes cannot be bands. They must end in a point as above. Stripes can be anywhere.
Spots​
Cost: 200 Beyms and 2 months
​
Requirements: Your Moonbeym got a case of the spot sickness and when they woke up they found themselves with permanent spots. Draw or write about your Moonbeym getting sick.
​
Must be a colored picture or 300 word story.
​
How to Use: Must be a color already on your Moonbeym. Must be multiple spots. Must be random and cannot make another shape with them. Spot can be almost any size except very small spots. Cannot look like the Stardust marking. Spots cannot glow or appear to be glowing.
