The Moon and the Sun (Creation Story)
It is said the Sun and Moon were born on the same day. The Sun was born first and was the strongest and due to this was given dominion over many worlds. The Moon was also strong but did not want the responsibility of the Sun. Instead, she silently supported those who needed healing and guidance.
But one day she noticed a lonely planet. Silent and alone. The Sun barely shone on it and struggled all alone. The Moon began to watch the tiny planet and a desire grew in here. Eventually she asked the Sun to give her the planet. The Sun agreed and gifted the Moon a piece of itself. With that, the Moon took the piece of Sun and hung it in the sky, giving the planet warmth and as she did she cried in joy to see the planet grow.
The tears that fell on the planet, turned into small creatures that the Moon named Moonbeyms.
Star Ascension
It is said that all the stars that shine in the sky are creatures that have Ascended to guardians. These guardians watch over species from worlds everywhere. If Moonbeym is pure of purpose, they will ascend into a star.
The Moon Child
The Moon Child is said to be the guardian of all Moonbeym Babies. The legend goes that the Moon Child who was abandoned in the wilderness. He prayed to the Moon Goddess for help every hour until falling asleep and never waking up. The Moon Goddess had pity on the poor abandoned child and took him to the Moon and blessed him with the task of guarding all children.
It is said, that the Moon Child is also known to punish those who have done great crimes against children.
