It's time to get celebrating! Here is a list of the most popular holidays in Moonbeyms. Upcoming holidays are announced on our monthly News page on Deviantart.
Egg Week
A week of celebrating everyone's birthday. Instead of having a specific birthday, Moonbeyms celebrate everyone's birthday together. This is the day everyone gives presents to everyone else in celebration of being born.
This also tends to be a holiday for romance and breeding. Often people confess their love, propose, or get married during Egg Week. It's a tradition for people to search for moon rocks in hopes of getting a Moon Blessing. Moon Blessing is said to help a child have a strong Moon Crest or be used to bless a same sex couple with a biological egg.
Witch's Moon Harvest
A holiday of monsters and magic. This is a holiday to celebrate magic and understand the good and darkness within that lasts three day. During the harvest, monsters are stronger and wild and so is magic. Brave hunters and warriors often go out to test the limits of their strength and courage. Advance mages will test the limits of their magic while inexperience mages are often forbidden to do magic.
Usually there is a game that happens around town where something is hidden and everyone in the town has to go on a hunt to find it. It can range from an item to a person. At the end, the winner is crowned Harvest King or Queen.
Winter Heart Festival
The Winter Heart festival is a holiday to celebrate warmth and community. This is a holiday where people are encouraged to bundle up and enjoy each other's company. Lots of group activities often happen as well as a special secret gift giving, where you are meant to share your true feelings with other through a gift or message.
