Rules

1. We are a welcoming community. This means we do not tolerate discrimination or hate speech. We welcome people from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. Any discrimination will not be tolerated.

2. This game is rated PG-16. This means that sometimes there are dark or heavy themes that can be encountered throughout the story. We try to make sure it's not too dark but sometimes bad things happen and characters die. You must be 16 or older to join. By joining you are stating you are 16 or older. If you are discovered to be under 16, you will be permanently banned.

3. We do not permit sexual scenes or art on the Discord or published in the group. Violence and blood can happen, but extreme gore is not allowed. A lot of violence scenes can be case-by-case, so if you are unsure, ask a mod. Mods have final say.

4. You cannot kill or force a character into combat without their permission. At the same time, there are events that will require you to enter a combat situation. There will always be a warning when this happens and you can either opt-in or opt-out. Even in these situations, your character cannot be killed without your permission, but they can be injured.

5. You are allowed one (1) free MYO Moonbeym when you start. After that you can earn more through events, quests, raffles, purchasing eggs, adopts, etc.

6. Do not make multiple accounts in order to try to get more free stuff or circumvent rules. If discovered, you will be banned from Moonbeyms permanently. There is a good deal of trust in this community and breaking that trust means you are no longer allowed to participate. Any Moonbeyms that you have will be listed as void on the masterlist. Any adopts you can resell for the original price bought as long as they have not been upgraded. You still can keep your Moonbeyms, they are simply no longer official and you cannot participate in the world. The rules and TOS still apply to voided Moonbeyms.

7. All Moonbeyms and stock objects are submitted to the Masterlist and Stockroom. This means you are agreeing to allow your Moonbeym to be hosted on whatever site we deem necessary. By participating and submitting for approval or to the group or discord you agree to this and the rules.

8. Moving accounts. Yes, you can move your account or rename your DA account. Before doing so make sure you send us a message from your old account saying you would like to update to a new account with the name of the account. We'll update the masterlist and bank with the new information. We will not constantly update accounts, so make sure you are sure before you message us.

9. When submitting items for official entry into the Moonbeym world you are allowing us to indefinitely host the images and items for free for use in the Moonbeym world and community. This means if you leave we can still use the items, images, and descriptions as we please and they become the property of Moonbeyms. This is in order to allow people to craft items and build the world without worry of having to remove an intricately used item if someone leaves or is banned.

10. If you leave the group or are banned, you do not get a refund on items you have purchased. So please make sure to follow the rules and listen to the mods if they give you a warning.

11. Rules will be updated as needed. Any rule updated, will be announced on the Moonbeym announcement channel on Discord and will be confirmation that you have read and understand the updated rules.

Adopt /Trading /Selling Rules

1. When you buy an adopt you have the ability to resell it or trade it, but only if you haven't added upgrades or traits. After that it cannot be resold or traded.

2. MYO Moonbeyms cannot be sold or traded, but unused eggs can. Please make sure the person links you to the masterlist egg. It will notify you if it can be sold or if it is trade only. As a general rule, if it was originally paid for it can be sold/traded.

3. Trades and Sales should be completed on the Trade Journal. This is so Mods can see what is being traded/sold and approve and confirm. Once confirmed, then the Masterlist is updated. Any trades/sales not done on the trade thread are not official and the Masterlist will not be updated. It is fine to discuss trades/sales elsewhere, but the final trade/sale should be done on the trade journal. It is your responsibility to read the rules and make sure you are doing this correctly before entering into a trade.

4. Always check the Masterlist and the Stockroom. It will always let you know the sale value and if an item is tradable. Items should not be sold for higher that they are bought and if there is cash involved, extras cannot be added.

1. I, the owner, maintain the copyright of Moonbeyms, its website, adopts, and the species design, lore and other written and art products, and may use them for advertising, personal, and commercial use as needed. By joining the game you understand this and decide to play within the confines of this information. Users maintain the copyright of their own art and stories and use of such things will not be used without the written permission of the user.

2. Moonbeyms adopts, MYOs, and other Moonbyem related items cannot be used for commercial use unless clearly given permission by the owner. An example is being sold on a t-shirt to other people. Though this example is not the limit. If there is something you would like to use a Moonbeym for that falls into commercial use, please send a message to the owner to discuss.

3. Moonbeym adopts and items, including cash shop items, can only be sold for the original cash value with no add-ons. This means you cannot not add extra value due to commissioned art, sentimental value, or other factors. You have the option of accepting an only cash offer or a trade with no cash, not a mixture of cash and trade. Items received for free or through trade cannot be sold for money.

4. You are allowed to draw art, write stories, play in the ARPG, do comics, animations, and crafts with your Moonbeym. You are allowed to use your Moonbeym as an avatar or banner, including a banner in a website or an avatar for a youtube channel. As long as you are not using it to directly make money or mass producing it with in the confines of the rules and TOS, you may use it. You are allowed to make a plushie or even have your Moonbeym on a personal t-shirt. Moonbeyms should be used for personal non-financial use only.

5. Moonbeyms bought through a guest artist still maintain the rules and terms of service set forth by the Moonbeyms owner first and the guest artist rules second. If you need clarification on this please reach out to the Moonbeyms owner.

6. This TOS is subject to change at any time for any reason. Such changes will be announced in the Discord Announcement Channel or another method chosen by the owner if the Discord Announcement Channel is no longer available. You agree that it is your responsibility to keep up with any changes to the rules or TOS and abide by them.
